Negril Village is closed today (Wednesday 2/10/10) due to inclement weather. We will re-open tomorrow. You can still book reservations on the web here.

Negril Village is on the list for New York’s top Valentine’s Day Restaurants. Make your reservation today and vote here on Urbanspoon if you think Negril Village is a great choice for Valentine’s Day.

Negril Village will be closed Monday, 1-25-10 for a private party. We will reopen on Tuesday, 1-26-10 at 4pm. See you then.

Tonight, Negril Village will use the Rhum Lounge as a community gathering place. Come share stories or use as a platform to inform others. Lets network and inform each other of the where a bouts of our families. We will offer a open microphone for those with something to say.

We will also be collecting can goods for donation. If you know of an organization that we can donate to, please call the restaurant @ 212.477.2804.

After 15 years of service, we regretfully announce that Negril Chelsea will be setting sail on May 31st, 2009. Due to increased rent and higher cost of doing business, we have been forced to make this difficult decision. We thank you for your support of Negril Chelsea over the years. Negril is proud to have fed some of the most important people of our time and to have been a part of many of your memorable experiences.

Although Negril Chelsea will be closing, the Negril brand and legacy will continue to thrive at our sister restaurant Negril Village (70 West 3rd Street). We hope that you continue to support our brand and continue your patronage at our Village location. To entice you, we have included some of your favorite Chelsea dishes on our Village menu.

We will also be offering a 20% discount (Sun. – Thurs.) until September 31st, to Chelsea customers making the switch. We look forward to continuing our service of the finest caribbean food in the city and many more memorable experiences with you.
